1. “Telling” through a typical everyday conversation
2. Expressing support
3. Encouraging questions
Guiding Principle 3: Use Appropriate Language
Use age appropriate language for your child’s age.
Use language you are comfortable with.
Guiding Principle 4: Stay on the Journey
The Telling Journey has 2 parts:
1. Initial telling conversation
2. Subsequent telling conversations throughout your child’s lifetime
